There aren’t as many releases as last week massive list, but there are some interesting new and reissue titles.
British Saxophonist Camilla George returns with another good album ‘The People Could Fly’ feat Omar on the superb track ‘Here But I’m Gone’. Nile Rodgers & Chic return with an array of guests, and Anthony Joseph’s deep voice treating us the tropical ‘People of the sun’. Marcel Vogel’s Lumberjacks in hell is a comp of house/nu disco and edits.
There are some good reissues from Carrie Lucas, Diana Ross, James Brown and a couple of good comps from ACE, plus some great value multi album sets and a few 45’s.
Pre-order for the next couple of weeks for new albums from Lori Williams, Doggett brothers (delayed due to manufacturing fault), Reel People plus great reissues from Skullsnaps and Earth Wind & Fire. See all the pre-order titles here.

Watch out for 70’s Motown mailer next week.
Darrell Banks 45
Darrell Banks recorded some great tracks in his sadly short career. ‘I’m The One who Loves you’ is one of the best, but hidden on the B side of this 45 is a previously unreleased cut ‘I’m knocking at your heart’ which has started getting played on the Northern Soul scene by Butch among others. We have found a few copies of this long out of print 45 in our storage , so grab your copy now before it becomes a rarity. Plus we are probably the cheapest out there – copies are listed for up to £30 on Discogs right now! Buy here
