After the incredible amount of releases over the past two to three weeks, there are relatively few this week, however there are some real gems. Legendary DJ Colin Curtis serves up a double CD or Double LP of Jazz Dance fusion dancers with fantastic music from the muse label which is essential.
Ronnie Wright aka Bespeak has a strong Soul/R&B album which includes some good slow jams. Chris Bowden and Wayne Escoffrey have made really good new jazz albums in the tradition , plus Maceo Parker has a new set. Those who are into or want to explore early Detroit Soul the Motor Town Soul from Detroit is an excellent value 10 cd set containing 18 original albums.
