New releases
There are some good new albums this week. Izzi Dunn returns with a lovely new album, Robert Cray teams up with the Hi Rhythm section for a strong Southern Soul/ Blues album and Tromobone Shorty has a funky jazz new orleans album.
Mary J Blige and Kendrick Lamar have more contemporary offerings. Jimmy Green and Special EFX have nice new jazz albums.
Tom Funk has a good six track Boogie Ep 12″, King bee a funky 12″ and there’s a great 7″ from Red Astaire sampling the Joytones.

Record Store Day lookback
A big thank you to everybody who came to the shop on Record Store Day last Saturday, it was an amazing day You can see the photos here. We still have some copies of most of the Soul and jazz titles available in the store today and over the weekend. We will be putting them up for sale on line and over the phone from tomorrow morning . Georgie B and Keni Stevens were in store on RSD and we still have a few signed copies of their cds available here.
Tom Glide and friends in store 6th May
Next Saturday 6th of May Tom Glide will be in store from 1pm with Soulful Emma Louise and Chidi launching his Divas Got Soul CD, I hope that you can join us.
