There are some great new releases, reissues and restocks this week. Sault returns with one of their best albums to date ‘Acts Of Faith’. Smokey Robinson’s ‘Gasms’ album finally appears on CD. Emmanuelle Cisi has a really nice Italian Jazz album ‘Rushin’ on the Right tempo label. Eddie Kendricks’ classic ‘People Hold On’ gets a welcome vinyl reissue, and there is a Japanese reissue of the rare 80’s Soul album from Michigan Avenue, and we are back in stock of The Topics and The Lovelites albums. Other restocks include the RSD Soul Slabs vol. 4 and other classic and recent albums plus a few good Reggae titles. There are some great reissue 45s on Expansion from The Topics and Outta Sight The Dells, The Spinners and Terry Callier, all available on standard dinked or limited edition full centre DJ Copies. Also some good restocks of 45s and 12″ singles. Cherry Red have nice 3CD box sets of 66 Atlantic Soul and Larry Carlton. Don’t forget the great range of 85 Blue note HQCD releases from Japan which sound amazing. 25 Original Vinyl Soul LPs from a large new collection that we will be purchasing over the next year, there are some great hard to find albums; quite a few sold out immediately and we have added a few where there were second copies to the list.
