There are a couple of really good new 45s this week . First up we have Jalen Ngonda with the beautiful Marvin-esque ‘Come Around And Love Me’ backed with a non album track ‘What Is Left To Do’ which has a sample of Dramatics ‘in The Rain’.
Secondly an excellent 45 on Jazz Room from contemporary Japanese artist Takumi Moriya, check ‘Night Dream’.
We have some more stock of the excellent Circling Sun LP ‘Spirits’ beautiful contemporary Spiritual Jazz. Demon have reissued both the Average White Band and William DeVaughn albums on LP and have a 15 cd box set on AWB. Bobby Patterson ‘My Thing Is Your Thing’ is a great comp of his Jetstar singles. We are also back in stock of Pap Bear Northern soul 45, Disco With a feeling LP, Marlena Shaw Live CD, and some great Jazz classics. And finally, at long last we are now in stock of Ahmad Jamal’s Emerald City Nights Vol. 3 and Cal Tjader’s Catch The Groove on CD. These were both due in November so apologies for the delay!
