New Releases, Restocks and Reissues | Friday 24th November

Kent records have discovered a great unreleased version of the Anderson Bros massive Modern soul anthem ‘I Can See Him Loving You’  by the Mayberry Movement, with even more soulful vocals, this a great 45. They also have an unreleased Dee Ervin track and classic early 70s break track from Tommy Youngblood. Rockie Robbins 4 albums from 1979-85 are issued on two great 2 on 1 CDs on Expansion. Our friend drummer Myele Manzanza has ‘Crisis & Opportunity vol 4’ on LP, showing a darker and more reflective side to his music. Wes Montgomery and Wynton Kelly have an unissued 3LP set as a US Black Friday release, the CD and other titles from the series are available for pre-order due 8th December. We are back in stock of Sheila Prospere’s CD and have a few more signed copies. Shakatak has a new CD. Bob James ‘Two’ is issued as a remastered CD  also on Gold vinyl as a BF RSD release. There are a few classic jazz and blues CDs and Lps plus a Prince Lincoln Thompson LP reissue.

The six new 45’s on the Soul Brother label sound amazing and have been very well received. There is some great rare soul music on these, available as regular dinked or full centre DJ Copies, check them out here.
