Its a good week for Soul Releases this week, the best for a while with new albums from Will Downing, William Bell, Felicia Adams and a nice R&B/slow jam/2-step compilation Welcome2groovecity featuring the in demand Antonio McClendon recordings.
There are also new jazz albums from Kenny Garrett and Marquis Hill.
Reissues
Two of The Dells mid 70’s albums are released on CD for the first time on a great 2 on 1 set.
Wood Brass and Steel superb debut album is officially re-released for the first time on 180gm vinyl remastered from the original tapes and sounding great. There are also a couple of obscure in demand jazz albums from Dorothy Ashby and Sahib Shihab on Cd and LP
