Recommended new releases and pre-orders: 1st May 2015

There are some good albums this week including an amazing live Cd/DVD and Vinyl set from the incredible Snarky Puppy. The Mighty Mocambos serve us up with a good slice of Funk, Reel People music give us some Soul Love 2015 and there is a good double CD featuring the house master Frankie Knuckles.

Good reissues include a best of Zulema and Lee Moses classic album on CD. There is some nice Vinyl reissue albums including Ned Doheny’s classic Prone and some nice Blue Note reissues.

45’s are coming in rapidly at the moment check out Nicole Willis new offering, a Brazilian disco dancer on Athens of the North, Raw Soul Express rare groove classic and lesser known sides from Dianne Lewis and Billy Bailey plus a good re-edits 45.

Thank you so much for the many orders that we received for record store day product last weekend and throughout the week. The volume of orders has stretched our resources this week and i apologise if deliveries have taken longer than usual, We are working full on and over the weekend to ensure that all orders are despatched by Tuesday, in fact most UK orders will be sent today. We still have a great selection of the RSD titles in stock including the 4 on our own label, but they are going fast. Check the list and grab what we have while they are still available.

The mighty Rebirth will be our special guests in our store next Friday 8th May at 1pm , I hope that many of you can come and meet this great band.
