We are delighted that Soulpersona and Princess Freesia will be launching their new album Soulperfreesia Amalgamation at Soul Brother records store.tomorrow. They will both be in store Sat 29th November 12.30 till 2pm signing copies, for photo opportunities and discussions, judging on the last time they were here it should be a really fun event, so hope that you can join us. New Releases
There are some other great new and reissue albums this week from Japanese band Native , Nina Simone’s daughter Lisa Simone, Eric Darius and a revised deluxe edition of Gregory Porter’s Liquid Spirit with extra tracks and a DVD. Prince has two new albums on Cd and Vinyl.
There are good CD reissues from Harold Melvin (Blue album at last !), Billy Butler and Infinity, Tony Silvester and Charles Earland amongst many others. here is also a special heavyweight Vinyl issue of The JB’s ‘Damn right i’m somebody’ LP with a flexi purple 45 of the Moog-less version of Blow Your head and a poster in a thick plastic sleeve.
Black Friday
Today is Black Friday and there are many exclusive limited edition BF RSD Vinyl titles being released. For Soul music the main title is the un-issued first album by The JB’s featuring Bootsy Collins, which is presented with a lovely 12 Pg book with great images and stories. The music is pretty good too, so don’t miss out on this. You can view all the other Black Friday titles we have here. You can buy these in store or on line whilst stocks last.
