Canadian group Crack Of Dawn released two albums between 1976 and 1981: they remerged in 2017 with their third album ‘Spotlight’. The latest incarnation of the band includes core members from nearly 40 years ago and the sound on ‘Spotlight’ bears the hallmarks of soaking up four decades of musical influence while keeping things firmly old school.

Trumpeter Christian Scott has made an excellent new contemporary Jazz album introducing the wonderful talent of Eland Pinderhughes on Flute.
