There are some really good new releases and many fantastic reissues this week.
Rajdulari is a new name to me but she has made a very nice soul/jazz album that reminds me of early Dianne Reeves or Rachelle Ferrell. Carmichael and UK soul singers Charlene and Harleighblu also have good albums and finally the Soul Togetherness 2013 is in stock on Vinyl.
There are superb CD reissues from The Dramatics, DJ Rogers, Gladys Knight and Thelma Houston with Jerry Butler plus 5 different sets from Norman Connors. On the jazz side Walt Dickerson’s 4 New jazz titles are on a double CD, and there are classic titles from Grant Green, Wayne Shorter and Stanley Turrentine plus some more unreleased Tubby Hayes sides, plus some good Northern soul comps.
All of these titles are one-offs so please order early to avoid disappointment.
