Kyle Auldist has made a superb retro early 80’s Boogie style album that will keep your feet moving during the summer nights, the best in this style for sometime.
London artist Funkshy has made a nice contemporary Jazzy Soul album featuring male and female vocalists. Dj Spinna has compiled a great album featuring covers of Stevie Wonder songs. Dayme Arocena’s great Cuban Jazz album ‘One Takes’ is now available on CD.
There are two new Athens of the North label 45’s this week, one gospel/disco from Spirit of Love the other ‘Nobody’ has an early 80’s Twin Cities feel.
Pre-orders – Wood Brass And Steel
Pre-order for early August a limited edition 180gm vinyl reissue of Wood Brass and Steel rare and in demand Hard & Heavy album coming out on Soul Brother Records. We have also issued their classic Wood Brass and Steel album on 180gm LP, and their earlier non album 45 ‘Hey What’s That You Say’ all being the first legal reissues of these classic recordings from this underrated band.

Check out this great collection of Pre-loved Soul compilations that recently arrived here. There are some titles we have never seen on CD before and these are all one-offs and selling fast, so please order early to avoid disappointment.
