Soul singer Joe Leavy has graced us with a fantastic new 11 track album ‘Soul On Fire’. Many of you may know Joe for the track ‘Inside You’, a stand out tune which was a huge number 1 soul hit on the UK soul chart a few years ago and features on this album. The rest of the album has a nice mix of tunes, track two is a lovely stepper featuring singer Jeanette Harris, a nice ballad features on track three with ‘Love All The Hurt Away’ with track four ‘Give It Right’ and five ‘Let It Go’ occupying the more upbeat and jazzier ends of the spectrum. Leavy’s voice sounds brilliant on all the tracks, as do all the featuring vocalists, and is a fine testimony to his ability and breadth as a musician.
