There are some good new releases, reissues and restocks this week.
Trumpeter Keyon Harold has a new album ‘Foreverland’ ft Robert Glasper, Common, PJ Morton, Jean Baylor , Laura Mvula and other guests. Canadian fusion band Four80East also has a new album. There is a great Archie Bell 5cd set featuring their 7 albums on Atlantic and Philadelphia plus 16 non album bonus tracks. Airto and Flora Purim have a 3cd compilation on BBE featuring 37 of their tracks. There are a couple of Japanese CDs which are one off’s. ‘Key To Out Love Vol 2’ is a 10 track vinyl comp of rare sweet soul tracks.
There are 3 classic Blue Note analogue titles this week including a tone poet from Lou Donaldson, plus we are back in stock of some great classic and spiritual jazz titles on vinyl plus a few jazz and soul CDs including a warehouse find of some copies of our long out of print and revered ‘African Spirits’ comp. We are also back in stock of the Incognito album on LP and CD.
There are also some good 45s with 6 titles in a new Charly series, plus a new single from Funk/Soul band The Tibbs whose album you can pre-order for next week. See all pre-order titles here.
