New arrivals – 11th December 2015

There are some great reissue CDs this week from three of the greatest male harmony groups of all time The Dramatics, The Dells and The Spinners. King Curtis has a 3CD singles anthology including 27 tracks previously unavailable on CD, and there is a 4CD career overview of the Staple Singers.Art Blakey and weather Report have CD box sets and there is a very interesting compilation of funky afro music in Senegal 70.

There’s 180gm Vinyl reissues from Bobby Womack, Don Covay, Archie Bell and many others, and the Private Wax vol 2 is now in on Vinyl.

There are some good 45’s , 3 from the dependable Athensc of the North label plus an unreleased one from Jesse Morgan.

We are now back in stock of some popular CD titles  Soulutions – Destiny, Lindsay Webster – You Change, Shaun Martin – 7 Summers, Snarky Puppy – We like it here, Snarky Puppy – Family Dinner, Miguel Migs- Dim Division and Henry Stone’s Miami Sound.

Sean Khan visited the store in the week (see pics here) and signed some copies of his excellent ‘Muriel’ CD, which you can order here while stocks last.
