The Dr Lonnie Smith Evolution’ , Peo ‘Swede soul music’ and Lindsey Webster – Lindsey Webster CD’s are now back in stock, as are the Matthew Halsall ‘into forever’ and a limited supply of New Love Ltd and Interstate 95 ‘So much to talk about’ and James Brown ‘The Payback’ and ‘In The Jungle Groove’ Lp’s.
Site back up and running

New ACE/Kent titles
The new ace titles are also finally here, delayed due to a fire at the distributor. The Other side of the Trax is a fine compilation of Stax rarities, and Masterpiece vol 21 is also now in stock. There are 8 new 45’s on Kent and related labels many of 45 for the first time, plus some good reissues of in demand tracks.
Vinyl reissues
Its another good week for vinyl reissues with many fine albums available again on Vinyl, including classics from Chaka Khan, Margie Joseph, Otis Redding and Rick James.

Kamasi Washington has spread the word of spiritual jazz from L.A. but the Nimbus label was creating music in a similar vein back in the 70’s and 80’s, so please check out our feature on this great lesser known label here.
