Dee Dee Bridgewater goes back to her roots and has made a Soul/Rhythm and Blues album in her birthplace Memphis. Dee Dee puts her twist on many classics including ‘Yes I’m Ready’ and ‘Can’t get next to you’ on this lovely album recorded in the Royal Studios co-produced by Willie’s son Lawrence ‘Boo’ Mitchell.

Richard Spaven ‘The Self’ LP features Jordan Rakei and has that leftfield Soul feel.

Two classic Shakatak albums are out on a two on 1 cd, and the second volume of FTG presents 3CD is now in. The extremely rare Brazillian Antonio Adolfo album has a very limited vinyl reissue, plus there are two classic Braziliian cuts out on 45.

The Documents series have 20 sets of 10 cds featuring multiple albums from many jazz artists. At £14.99 each these represent incredible value, and a cost effective way to explore the formative albums by some of the Jazz greats. You can see the list of albums here

If you haven’t already checked out the fantastic Voices of East Harlem albums, check the video here. These two Leroy Hutson produced albums are amongst the best we have ever released on our label, not a bad track on either album. Released on two individual LP’s and a great value 2 on 1 CD.
