New Releases and Pre-Orders

Bruno Mars teams up with Anderson Paak for an evening with Silk Sonic, which musically has its roots in 70’s Harmony Soul. The ever consistent Ty Causey returns with ‘U Turn’ which sounds like one of his better albums with some more uptempo grooves. Former Nicola Conte vocalist Melaine Charles finally makes a full album It’s a tribute to female Jazz vocalists ‘Y’all Don’t Really Care About Black women’ covering some classic songs from the Verve catalogue, a few of them mixed with the original vocals and rather good !. Elaine Elias has a new album on CD, pre-order the delayed LP. Bad Bad Not Good Talk Memory Lp is finally in stock.  There are some good reissues and compilations from War, Brief Encounter, Betty Davis, many Philadelphia greats plus Tom Moulton has remixed songs from the Spring label catalogue for ‘Spring Event’ .

There are some good Modern Soul/Northern Soul 45’s including Ann Sexton and Darrow Fletcher.
Finally we are back in stock of some classic albums from Curtis and Aretha.
