New Releases, Reissues and Restocks | Friday 14th February

There are some good new releases, reissues and restocks this week.

Tuxedo return with Tuxedo IV, a nice retro 80s Soul/Boogie album available in limited quantity on Cd and LP. Charly have two very good compilations highlighting the GSF label (70’s modern soul tracks including Connie Laverne, Skull Snaps, Anderson Brothers etc) and the 80’s Boogie label Scorpgemi (including Shades Of Love, Jean Jones, Royalle Delite etc)
There are some good restocks of classic reissue LPs and 45s including many of Studio 16 Reggae/Dub comps, A special price Aretha Amazing grace, Rare pleasure and lots of goodies from music on vinyl.

This week we loaded more preloved Jazz CDs, more from this collection to come next week, plus some Original Soul and Funk LPs and Jazz LPs.

A lot of you will have seen the recent uploads of rare and collectable CDs that have been added to the site recently. These in include 50 Japanese Soul and Jazz CDs and 50 Collectable Soul and Funk CDs. There is many more from this collection which we will be adding in the coming weeks but make sure you keep your eyes peeled as they won’t be around long.

This year’s Record Store Day 2025 list has been released. See the full list HERE.  We will stock most of the soul jazz reggae and world titles and some of the more general titles. Please let us know if you would like us to carry any of these titles asap so we can make sure we order them

We recently published a phenomenal batch or very rare jazz LPs – check this out here. These records are in wonderful condition and will appeal to any serious collector out there. We have a comprehensive list of all original vinyl that we’ve upload over the last few months in our Original Vinyl section. This includes the recent South West Connection and Soul Brother Vaults series’.

We still have many of the Black Friday limited edition vinyl available here including a few that were previously sold out now back in limited qty.
We are continuing to list many discoveries from the Soul Brother vaults, see the new addition – Part 12 – 35 Original Vinyl Reggae LPs and 12″ Singles.
We have had some brilliant albums in recently that have all been featured in our Album Of The Day. This includes the recent Will Downing, Gina Sedman, Roy Ayers, Benny Golson, James Brown, Don Blackman, Ashley Henry, Kelly Finnigan and the new Ezra Collective and many more. We published a fantastic selection of Jazz-Funk and Soul LPs a few months ago, which is part of a larger collection from earlier in the year titled Collection Of The North so make sure you check that out if you missed it!
Elsewhere, we have fantastic selection of original vinyl across the site. Click HERE to see a recent collection of jazz and jazz-funk LPs. A couple of weeks ago we put up a good batch 70s and 80s soul 45s which you can view here. This adds to the list of 60s soul 45s which you can see here if you missed, and we also added to our series of 12″ singles with part 15. We featured the first batch of 25 Original Vinyl Soul LPs from a large new collection that we will be purchasing over the next year, there are some great hard to find albums;  quite a few sold out immediately and we have added a few where there were second copies to the list.
As always we have a brilliant selection of original LPs and 12s that have been added to the site in recent weeks. This week we added some brilliant original soul LPs in addition to the batches of Philly Soul and Classic Soul we put up recently, plus two new batches of 12″ singles for funk, disco and house fans check them out here and here. This is part of a larger group of 12″ singles from a recent collection into one group which you can view here. There’s also two great selections of jazz-fusion albums all at £10 each, see them here and here. The six new 45’s on the Soul Brother label sound amazing and have been very well received. There is some great rare soul music on these, available as regular dinked or full centre DJ Copies, check them out here.
