Its another great week for quality releases and reissues.
Booker T has made an excellent contemporary soul album ft Anthony Hamilton and other guests. Howard Johnson returns with a really strong album prod by Leon Sylvers, UK band Personal Life have an early 80’s sounding soul/jazz funk album and there are other good Soul/R&B albums from Joe, Donell Jones and Ronald Isley.
There are also great Jazz albums from Zbonics ft Gregory Porter and Icelandic jazz and funk band Samuel Jon Samuelson Big band.
Tabu label Classic reissues from Brainstorm, SOS Band , Cherrelle and Alexander O’Neal, plus man of the moment Nile Rodgers Chic Organisation have a great double Cd hits package.
