This is the first week of 2014 with some new releases and there are some really good ones this week. Mighty Mighty provide us with a great jazz dance and fusion album from Finland which is likely to amongst the best jazz albums of 2014. Sharon Jones and Derobert and the Half Truths have strong retro soul sets, Debra Debs a high quality independent soul in a Jill Scott bag and Luxury Soul 2014 has a very fresh feel with many exclusive tracks, plus Alessandro Scala has made a good Italian Jazz album for Schema, so its quality all the way.
We are delighted to announce that the legendary singer/bassist Michael Henderson will be signing Cd’s and albums at Soul Brother Records shop on Saturday 1st March 2014 between 11am and midday.
Please come early as Michael has to leave at 12 sharp to go to rehersals for the gig with Norman Connors at the Royal festival hall the next day.
