Happy 2014 to all our customers – hopefully the flow of good new releases last year will be matched in the next 12 months. We’ve still got a few signed copies of the excellent Kenya Soul Singer album in stock (plus regular unsigned copies too) A few pre-order titles to tell you about. Sharon Jones comes with yet another strong album and in a similar funky soul vein we will have the new Derobert & The Half Truths full length in a couple of weeks: both can be pre-ordered now. Jazz wise the Zara McFarlane is well worth investigating. The UK singer releases her second album and it is a beautiful set. She has blossomed as a songwriter, contributing eight of the eleven songs, telling life stories. Many tracks are stripped down to just piano accompaniment allowing us to hear the beauty of her voice. Another one to pre-order for delivery in about a week and a half-two weeks.
