It is another massive week for releases with great new and reissue albums and something for everybody.
The long awaited brilliant Josh Milan 6.9.69 double CD is here in limited quantities at the moment so please order early as our first batch is likely to sell out very fast, more coming in a couple of weeks. There are also great albums from Moonchild and a new South East London band Ruby Rushton (in the style of Yussef Kamaal) out on both CD and LP.
There are good new soul albums from Maysa, Jay King, James Day and Daptone gospel soul group Como Mamas. There are good new jazz albums from Louis Hayes (tribute to Horace Silver ft Gregory Porter), Miles Mosley, Pieces of a dream plus finally at Uk prices Paul Brown and Marc Antione.
Reissues include a career best of from the Dynamics on Cd and LP, some great unissued Alice Coltrane, Bobby Hutcherson 3 albums on 2cd, the brilliant Mulatu of Ethiopea, another unissued Bill Evans album and the Jaco Pastorius is out on CD.
There are many Vinyl releases this week including the Childish Gambino LP box set, a Tony Allen tribute to Art Blakey, the rare Exciters albums and the much rarer British jazz album from Amancio Da Silva plus the Motown 7″ Box set vol 4.
