There are some great vinyl reissues this week and plenty of great restocks of titles that we haven’t seen for a while.
Roy Ayers Ubiquity fantastic second album ‘He’s Coming’ is reissued on a high quality 180gm vinyl with a gatefold sleeve by Elemental/Polydor. It includes the anthemic ‘We Live In Brooklyn Baby’ original version of ‘Sweet Tears’, ‘Ain’t Got Time’ and many other great tracks.
The same label has also reissued The Temptations classic ‘All Directions’ and Quincy Jones ‘Gula Matari’. Warner has some clear vinyl issues of a couple of classic 60’s Soul Atlantic albums from Otis Redding and Arthur Conley.
Pure Pleasure have issued Pharoah Sanders’ beautiful ‘Shukuru’ LP originally issued on Theresa on a 180gm analogue mastered vinyl. We are also back in stock in limited quantities of many great titles on Pure Pleasure and Speakers Corner that have been out of stock for a time including classics from Nate Morgan, Herbie Hancock, Allen Toussaint and Freddie Hubbard.
We are also back in stock of many great classic Jazz albums on Wax Time, Pan Am labels from artists including Getz, Mingus, Coleman, Bill Evans, Nina Simone and Ray Charles.

There have been some quite large price increases from many labels including Music On Vinyl, Ace and universal group of labels. We still have a large selection of titles available at the old prices whilst stocks last , but restocks will be between £3 to £10 (a few are more than that) more expensive when we reorder, so take your chance to buy these great albums at the old prices whilst they last. The new reissues on Soul Brother from FBI LP and Johnny Hammond ‘Gamblers Life’ LP and CD sound great and have been flying out. as has the Webster Lewis Anthology CD and LP compiled by Will Fox and Ralph Tee LP grab your copies now if you haven’t already purchased
The new 45’s on Soul Brother and Expansion have also been very well received.
