There is a 7CD Box set featuring 150 previously unreleased tracks from the Stax vaults ‘Written In Their Soul – The Stax Songwriter Demos’ which will be essential for lovers of Southern Soul. Billie Holiday’sclassic album ‘Songs For Distingue lovers’ gets a 180gm analogue master releases on Acoustic Sounds and Hector Levoe ‘La Voz’ a classic Fania Latin album a high quality release on Craft.
We are back in stock of quite a few great 45 Soul reissues from Bobby Thurston and Keni Burke on Expansion, Al Wilson on Outta Sight and Linda Jones and Barbara Lynn on Soul Brother, plus a couple of Miles Davis classics on vinyl.
Next Saturday 1st July is Independent Shop day and we are celebrating with Acantha Lang in store signing copies of her long awaited debut album ‘Beautiful Dreams’ being released the previous day. It is sure to be one of the best New Soul albums of 2023 , so we look forward to seeing many of you between 1-3pm when Acantha will be signing CD and LP copies.
