Soulutions made a big impact with their debut album a couple of years ago and now return with their second album ‘Thankful’, which has been receiving a lot of airplay. The legendary band Tower of Power have been together for over 45 years and their first album in some years ‘The Other Side of Town’ is a strong testament to the powerful Oakland band. MF Robots album is now released on LP as well as CD. Eddie Daniels returns with a Brazilian jazz album, and bassist Marcus Miller has a new album showing off his talents.
Their are some good reissues this week Sylvers 11 and Fosters Sylvers are both in demand albums from the at the time young family and are finally re-released on Cd and LP. Celia Regina Cruz made a superb Brazilian jazz album in the 70’s that is well worth checking and Shina Williams funky ‘African Dances’ is now out on LP (CD to follow).
