There are some great new releases, reissues and restocks this week. Michelle David and The Tru-Tones have a great retro Soul album out on both CD and LP on the Record Kicks label. Jose James returns with the appropriately named ‘1978’ a throwback in sound to that heady year. Alice Russell also has a long awaited album on Tru Thoughts and Keyon Harold superb ‘Loveland’ is now available on vinyl. Jeremy Pelt has a new CD and the first album on the Red Dust label is a limited edition of 300 recorded live at Moments Notice AMP studios highlighting new London Jazz with three musicians who had never played together before highlighting how great this scene is.The Congregation Jazz Alliance International is a great 2 LP set featuring some fantastic contemporary jazz dancers and including an unreleased Yellowtail ft Mark Murphy cut.
There are good reissues from Weldon Irvine, Joe Bataan, Lafayette Afro Rock Band, Chaka Khan and more all in limited supply.

This month we are celebrating the 30th Anniversary of our shop which opened in March 1994! We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible in the month to celebrate.

We have placed all orders and will be uploading the titles over the next two to three weeks. We will aim to stock most of the Soul, Jazz, Reggae etc titles and some of the more general releases, but baring in mind that records will be sold on first come first served basis on the day in accordance with the rules. Soul Brother is also proud to be releasing China Burton’s classic ‘You Don’t Care About Our Love’ on 12″ single.
