There is an amazing release this week from Cecilia Stalin and Khari Cabral Simmons ‘The Story of Love’ , 4 four glorious tracks of quality music, check the versions of Seawind’s ‘He Loves You’ and ‘Sunny Day’. Reissues
There are some great reissues this week Milton Wright’s Miami soul classic ‘Friends and Buddies’ gets an extended version Cd release with the original raw soul recordings, which feature on a very limited edition vinyl release, if anything the original has a more 70’s soulful feel than the released version. The JB’s un-issued album ‘These are the JB’s gets a full release on vinyl still with the beautiful booklet, there is a great late 70’s discovery The Universal Togetherness band, and a welcome 2 albums on one CD from Cameo.
Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On and Art Blakey’s Mosiac have new 180gm vinyl pressings, and there are 3 great 45’s from Bileo (now repressed but very limited), Fred Williams ultra rare ‘tell her’ and a new mellow mellow right on release featuring Luther Vandross. Also check the un released Disco Madness 12″ from Irene Cathaway.

Pre-order for next weeks arrivals from Nick Van Gelder, Carlos Garnett , Idris Muhammad and the next Soul on the Realside compilation. Soulpersona release date has moved by to around 18th Feb due to manufacturing problems.
