Citrus Sun showing the instrumental side of Bluey’s music is a beautifully crafted album featuring Jim Mullen. Bluey will be in Soul Brother Records store on Saturday 12th April signing copies of the album. The extra rich in soul compilation showcases many of the 45’s issued on the Soul Junction label along with some unissued and new tracks.
Its a massive week for reissues with an unreleased Irma Thomas 70’s album, and great sets from Lenny Williams , David Ruffin, Mary Love, Freelife, Tymes and Odyssey amongst others.
There are some interesting vinyl releases and pre-order for next week a great new 45 from Paul Johnson and the Pharrell Williams anthem Happy on 12″ single.
