Firstly we have the second album from Lindsey Webster who is filling the void for quality sophisticated soul vacated by Sade many years ago. Her self titled debut was good, but 'You Change' elevates her to another level, check out the clips. Its a strong week for releases with good albums from Charenee Wade (superb jazzy covers of Gil scott heron songs) , a lovely summer Brazilian album from Lucas Arruda, and an excellent deep spiritual jazz set from Greg Foat Group. The Henry Stone Miami Sound is an essential compilation featuring many of the rare funky 45's from his TK empire, Ginger Johnson early afro beat set and Karin Krog compilation are also very good. Foreign Exchange fans will lap up the new Nicolay album City lights vol 3 - Soweto.
