New Releases and Pre-Orders, Friday 21st April

There are some good new releases and reissues on RSD eve today. Jimetta Rose & The Voices Of Creation have a really nice Spiritual Soul album with a cover of Sons And Daughters Of Lite ‘Let The Sun Shine In’. The Ethnic Heritage Ensemble with El Zabar have a tribute to Don Cherry released on Cd (Lp in May), and The Bill Evans unreleased ‘Treasures’ is out on Cd (LP on RSD tomorrow). There is a Phillip Bailey Columbia albums 3CD set and the latest volume of the long running Masterpiece series, vol 34. There are good vinyl reissues from Latimore and Betty Wright plus a 2LP compilation from TK/Henry stone ‘Miami Soul’, and we are back in stock of ‘Mainstream Disco Funk’. Craft reissue one of the classic Blues albums Albert King’ Born Under A Bad Sign’ plus two more in the Blue Note classic series.

The new 45’s on Soul Brother, Expansion and Outta Sight have been very well received. There are some great titles from Vaneese & Carolyn, Salena Jones, Future Flight, Nancy Wilson ,Charles Earland, Chris Clark/The Temptations all available on regular dinked 45’s and limited edition full centre DJ Copies, plus a Wigan 50th anniversary  3 track EP in a picture cover. The Harold McNair 45 has been delayed due to a mastering issue, it will come out late April/Early May. See details here
There have been some quite large price increases from many labels including Music On Vinyl, Ace and universal group of labels. We still have a large selection of titles available at the old prices whilst stocks last , but restocks will be between £3 to £10 (a few are more than that) more expensive when we reorder, so take your chance to buy these great albums at the old prices whilst they last (some have already been restocked and increased). The new reissues on Soul Brother from FBI LP and Johnny Hammond Gamblers Life’ LP and CDsound great and have been flying out. as has the Webster Lewis Anthology CD and LP compiled by Will Fox and Ralph Tee LP grab your copies now if you haven’t already purchased
