There are some interesting new releases, reissues and restocks this week. The Diplomats of Soul cover Weldon Irvine/Don Blackman ‘I Love You’ on a limited edition 45 available as regular dinked or full centre DJ copy. Thee Sacred Souls also have a new 45. Gary Bartz has an unreleased live album from ’75 and Roland Haynes jr an unreleased jazz-funk album (sounds a little like James Mason in places). There are good reissues from Antonia Carlos Jobim, Pharoah Sanders ,Cannonball Adderley/Sergio Mendes , Four Mints plus restocks of many great titles on LP and CD including a couple from Quincy Jones who sadly passed away this week. Quincy needless to say made a very significant contribution to our music over many decades as an artist, arranger and producer.
As for original vinyl, there have been more uploads this week from The South West Connection. These include Part 14 Original Jazz-Funk LPs, Part 15 Original Soul and Disco LPs, and Part 16 Original Soul and Disco 12 inches.

A couple of weeks ago we put up a good batch 70s and 80s soul 45s which you can view here. This adds to the list of 60s soul 45s which you can see here if you missed, and we also added to our series of 12″ singles with part 15. We featured the first batch of 25 Original Vinyl Soul LPs from a large new collection that we will be purchasing over the next year, there are some great hard to find albums; quite a few sold out immediately and we have added a few where there were second copies to the list.
As always we have a brilliant selection of original LPs and 12s that have been added to the site in recent weeks. This week we added some brilliant original soul LPs in addition to the batches of Philly Soul and Classic Soul we put up recently, plus two new batches of 12″ singles for funk, disco and house fans check them out here and here.
