There are a lot of good new releases this week. Cream of the crop is the new album from Jazzy Soul singer Rajdulari whose Journey of a woman sees her move more into soul territory than her excellent but jazzier Honey Wine set. The Dependable Eric Roberson , Algebra Blessett and Jennifer Holiday also have new soul albums. Resolution 88 is a superb Funky Jazz fusion set and we welcome the Italian Via Veneto label with 5 new albums and a couple of older ones from Mario Biondi’s original backing band High Five.
Strong reissues from Carl Carlton, Phreek Gwen McCrae etc and 3 new 45’s from the Secret Stash label round up the week. For Vinyl collectors check out this weeks new Original Soul LP arrivals.
