New Releases Its a great week for jazz releases. Trumpeter Theo Croker impressed on his debut 'Afrophysicist' a couple of years ago and consolidates his position as a leading talent with another great album 'Escape Velocity' with his band Dark Funk. Tomoyoshi Nakamura Quartet (of the Japanese band Native) have made a really nice Jazz dance album which is now in stock. New releases Teddy Douglas from the Basement Boys has recorded a great album featuring the brilliant soulful voice of Marcell Russell a mixture of Up tempo Soul, Soulful house and a couple of killer mid tempo soul cuts including the superb 'Good Morning Love a duet with The Floacist. New releases There are some great new releases this week. Terrace Martin has produced a superb contemporary sounding Jazz and Soul album which has more than a nod to the old school it features Lalah Hathaway, Perri Sisters and The Emotions amongst others. Collective Peace from Detroit have another great Jazz/Soul album, featuring Dwele and Amp Fiddler. New releases Its another strong week for releases with some great Soul and Jazz albums again this week. Anthony Hamilton and Jahiem return with their first albums in a few years.
