We are saddened to learn of the passing of Vicki Anderson (Momie-O) . Vicki was probably the most soulful of James Brown's female singers, wife of Bobby Byrd and mother of Carleen Anderson. She made many Funk and Soul classics, our Anthology is sadly long out of print but you can still purchase her 60's Soul sides on 'Wide Awake In a Dream' CD.
