Acantha Lang from New Orleans has recorded one of the best contemporary classic soul/southern soul albums in recent years and is likely to be one of the best soul albums of 2023. It is available on Cd and LP and we will have limited signed copies available after her in store tomorrow.

Leon Thomas brilliant ‘Full Circle’ ft ‘It’s my Life I’m Fighting For’ and ‘Just In time to See The Sun’ is reissued on LP (also available on CD) and Art Blakey And The jazz messengers ‘Buhaina’ including the vocal version of ‘Moanin’ ft Bobby Timmons and the amazing ‘A Chant For Bu’ . There is also a nice Soul/early Disco compilation on Ace ‘Tribal RItes Of The New Saturday Night – Brooklyn Disco 1974-5’ on both CD and LP
There is a previously unreleased on vinyl Ep from Georgie Fame’s Blue Flames’ and first time on 45 for Roy Ayers ‘Good Good Music’ backed with ‘Chicago’.
