Agape Soul impressed with their debut six years ago and Darryl Anders returns with another strong album ‘Conversations’, quality contemporary soul with a retro feel. The Internet are a young band who have been causing a stir and their 4th album ‘Hive Mind’ is likely to be their big breakthrough album, good new neo-soul with a groove, well worth checking out. There are several smooth jazz albums this week from Brian Bromberg, Will Donato and three new artists to us.

Great resisue Cds from Lalomie Washburn, Whispers and 4  three classic albums on 2cd sets from the CTI vaults on the BGO label. Mulatu Astake early recordings ‘Afro Latin Soul’ vol 1 and 2 early on a 2 on 1 cd and as individual LP’s and their is good Nigerian disco from Tunde Mabadu.

Super disco edits have really turned up trumps with the unreleased Bill Brown and the Soul Injection 45 a killer cut, also 2 45’s on the Cordial label from Garfield Fleming and Kat Roberts.
